Effective November 1, 2010, His Excellency Archbishop Vsevolod, Archbishop of Ternopil'-Bukovina, Ukraine, has been granted a personal leave of absence.
Effective September 27, 2010, Archbishop Chrysostomos (Xavier Celi) has been released from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America to the Orthodox Church of Greece Metropolitan Holy Synod of the Patristic Calendar under Metropolitan Angelos of Avolona.
By decree of His Beatitude Metropolitan Ioan, after vetting probationer Volodymyr Levitsky for permanent incardination into the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America, Volodymyr Levitsky has been denied permanent incardination and released to his former jurisdiction, effective immediately. Probationer, of his own free will, waived his rights to appeal the initial decision. The Permanent Members of the Holy Synod of Bishops have been notified of this action.
By decree of His Beatitude Metropolitan Ioan, after consultation with the Prime Bishop's S.A.P. Council, Bishop Daniil (Kudybyn), formerly Bishop of the Diocese of Dolyna, Ukraine, and currently incardinated on a probationary basis within our jurisdiction, is hereby released to his former jurisdiction from the Ukrainian Orthodox Church in America, effective immediately. The Diocese of Dolyna is liquidated, and all priests, deacons, monastics and laity of the former Diocese of Dolyna are hereby absorbed into the newly erected Diocese of L'viv and Ivano-Frankivs'k, Ukraine.
The Diocese of Dolyna, Ukraine has been dissolved, and its canonical territory, clergy, monastics and people have been absorbed into the Diocese of L'viv and Ivano - Frankivs'k, a suffragen Diocese of the Archdiocese of Ternopil - Bukhovyna. His Beatitude Metropolitan Ioan will serve as Locum tenens of the newly-erected Diocese.
